Water Rotary Unions

Water rotary unions are components that allow water to flow into and out of a rotating component, such as a wheel or shaft. They are commonly used in a variety of industries, such as agriculture, automotive, and aerospace. Water rotary unions can be either direct-acting or non-direct-acting. Direct-acting water rotary unions have an internal valve that controls the flow of water, while non-direct-acting water rotary unions rely on external gravity or pressure to control the flow of water.

Water rotary unions are made up of a few different parts, including a body, an inlet, an outlet, and seals. Water rotary union manufacturers in Mumbai typically use metal, such as aluminum or stainless steel to construct the main body. And the inlet and outlet are usually located at the top and bottom of the body, respectively.

Another type of water rotary union is a radial seal. This type of union is typically used in low-pressure applications such as cooling systems. Generally, it consists of two parts: stationary housing and rotating housing. The stationary housing is connected to the rotating housing with a water supply pipe. Whereas, the housing is then connected to the shaft with a bearing and a retaining ring.

When the rotary union is in use, the stationary housing and rotating housing rotate together. As the two parts move concerning each other, the water flows through the chamber, maintaining a tight seal. Especially, water rotary union manufacturers in Mumbai are well-known for manufacturing this type of rotary union, which performs exceptionally well under any conditions.
